Subscription Sharing: A Better Deal for Artists
On Watchmaker, we believe artists should actually get paid for their fanbase.
That’s why we created Subscription Sharing — a model where artists earn directly from the fans they bring into the platform.
Here’s how it works:
- Day One Beta Fans get access to a $2/month lifetime Premium subscription (only available during the beta).
- After Beta There 2 Fan Subscription Levels When beta ends there will be a $2 Ad free sub and a $5 premium sub
- When an artist invites a fan who subscribes using their code, the artist gets $1/month — for life (as long as the fan keeps their subscription).
- That’s the same payout as getting 300 streams per month from one person on other platforms… but without needing 300 plays.
- Just So you know that a fan can change this every 30 days if they find another artist they want to support cause your slacking so don’t slack on your art
- In addition to this your super fans can support you via Fan Club Subscriptions similar to Patreon or Twitch which you set your price.
And when a fan upgrades to full Premium ($5/month after beta):
The artist earns $2.50/month — equivalent to getting 750 monthly streams from one fan.
